NEW YORK, May 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Havas Health has named Brian Robinson, a veteran healthcare consultant and marketing professional who has held posts at both Omnicom and WPP agencies, as its global chief strategy officer. Robinson will be based in New York and report into Donna Murphy, CEO of Havas Health.
In the role of Global Chief Strategy Officer, Robinson will head up the team responsible for the development and integration of strategy into all of the agency's key accounts for Havas. His deep biopharma and overall healthcare expertise will allow him to successfully fulfill his vision to deliver innovative strategic initiatives, organizing principles and operating processes to improve consistency and quality of strategy offering and deliverables.

Robinson's background includes senior positions in both the healthcare consulting and marketing agency worlds. He has launched numerous U.S. and global brands for companies of all sizes, and helped shape and lead integrated network teams. His most recent areas of focus have been on the changing healthcare landscape and how it is driving the need for new commercial models, and supporting collaboration between industry and other healthcare stakeholders—notably integrated systems, payors and employers.

Prior to agencies, Brian was VP corporate marketing at UnitedHealth Group, where he supported three business units with corporate strategy and product innovation.
