HBA Global Announces Finalists For 2014 International Package Design Awards

NEW YORK, May 29, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- HBA Global, the leading product development event for the beauty and personal care industry, has announced the Finalists of its annual International Package Design Awards (IPDA). The IPDA Finalist products will be displayed during the HBA Global Expo & Conference, June 10-12, 2014 at the Javits Center in New York.  Among the IPDA Finalists, Category Winners will be announced on June 11, 2014, during an awards ceremony in the Trends Theater open to all HBA attendees.

As the only awards designed to celebrate the year's most innovative beauty packaging in a variety of product categories, the IPDA received entries from major brands, niche players and independents from all over the world.   A Judging Committee of designers, packaging executives, brand experts, and media voted on the impressive packaging projects for the final selection.   Some of the comments about this year's finalists included:  "beautifully executed";  "rare to see such care, elegance and technically proficient packaging"; "amazing attention to detail"  and "very technologically advanced package."
