These new boards provide user-selectable image rotation and mirror image capabilities for standard format HDMI and LVDS video input to high resolution mobile MIPI format. Some of the newest display technologies such as AMOLED and Retina are being pioneered in the mobile space and these ultra-high resolution displays are using a new mobile interface called MIPI. This acronym stands for Mobile Industry Processor Interface and is the prevailing interface for cameras and displays in Cell Phones and Tablets.
