Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. Launches Tender Offer for up to $150.0 million of its Class A Common Stock

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., June 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Healthcare Trust of America, Inc. ("HTA") announced today that it has offered to purchase up to $150 million in value of its Class A common stock from its stockholders. In accordance with the terms of the previously announced tender offer, HTA will select the lowest price, not greater than $10.50 nor less than $10.10 per share, net to the tendering stockholder in cash, less any applicable withholding taxes and without interest, that will allow HTA to purchase up to $150 million in value of its Class A common stock or a lower amount depending upon the number of shares of its Class A common stock properly tendered and not withdrawn. HTA intends to fund the tender offer with cash on hand and funds available under its existing revolving credit and term loan facility.

The tender offer will expire at 11:59 P.M., New York City Time, on July 18, 2012, unless the tender offer is extended or withdrawn. To tender shares, stockholders must follow the procedures, including choosing the price or prices at which they wish to tender their shares, described in the offer to purchase, the letter of transmittal and the other documents related to the tender offer filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
