HealthPlan Services(SM) Announces Major Expansion Significant staff expansion is the result of the company's successful healthcare reform initiatives and 2013 carrier renewal and member retention efforts

TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- HealthPlan Services(SM) (HPS) is expanding its offices in Tampa to include a new state-of-the-art facility to accommodate the more than 1,000 new jobs it will add by 2018. Governor Rick Scott attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony today at the 95,689-square-foot facility, located at 6700 Lakeview Center Drive, which represents a $34.4 million investment capital investment in Hillsborough County.

HPS currently employs 652 individuals in Hillsborough County, the majority based in the company's headquarters in Tampa's Westshore District, and an additional 119 throughout the state.
