Taylor has been named head of the Chicago office of Heidrick & Struggles (Nasdaq: HSII), a premier provider of executive search, leadership consulting and culture shaping worldwide. He will continue to be active within the firm's Financial Services Practice as well as the CEO & Board Practice.

Taylor rejoined Heidrick & Struggles in 2014. He had spent the previous decade at a global executive search firm, where he focused on C-level executive search and assessment assignments at publicly traded and privately held organizations, rising through the ranks to be managing director within the Financial Services practice and led the firm's Diversity Practice. In 2001, he joined Heidrick & Struggles' Houston office as Principal. Earlier in his career, Lyndon worked in investment banking with UBS and Merrill Lynch and spent time in corporate development with a global energy company. He also served in the U.S. Navy prior to college.
Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Science in Ethnic Studies from Southern Methodist University in Texas. He also holds a Master of Business Administration in Business Policy and Strategy from the University of Chicago – Booth School of Business. Lyndon serves on the Board of Directors of the CFA Society Chicago and is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago and the University Club of Chicago. He also previously served on the Board of Directors of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
