Starting from a field of over 50 nominations, the five finalists for Ektron 2012 Site of the Year included the websites for Hendrix; CHEP; Behringer Harvard; Houston Grand Opera; and Rawlings Sporting Goods Company. Awarded at Ektron's customer and partner conference, Synergy 2012, the Ektron Site of the Year acknowledges innovative uses of the Ektron platform to create, deploy, and manage websites that advance an organization's business goals.

Demonstrating the shift to mobile devices, mobile unique visitors to the Hendrix website increased by 143% since the responsive re-design.
