Hennessy Honors Carmelo Anthony At 10th Annual Hennessy Privilege Awards

NEW YORK, Aug. 21, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Hennessy continues a long-standing commitment to recognize those who make a difference in their communities by presenting the Hennessy Privilege Award to National Basketball Association Player and two-time Olympic gold medalist Carmelo Anthony.

This year marks the 10^th anniversary of the Hennessy Privilege Awards, the brand's most prestigious honor.  The award represents mastery, strength and sophistication: ideals embodied by The House of Hennessy.  Past recipients of the Hennessy Privilege Award include Kanye West, Emilio Estefan, Patti La Belle, George Lopez, Andy Garcia, Spike Lee and Magic Johnson.

Anthony's achievements both on and off the court will be highlighted with a friendly roast including a special toast by former Privilege Award recipient Spike Lee. Anthony's close friends and family will attend to support this milestone in his career.
