Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins Places Sixth on Accounting Today's Ranking of the Top 150 "Wealth Magnets" in Assets Under Management
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 13, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Continuing its impressive growth trajectory, Hewins Financial Advisors, LLC | Wipfli Hewins (Hewins), a national, CPA-based investment advisory firm, is the sixth-largest CPA financial planner on Accounting Today's 2017 list of the Top 150 "Wealth Magnets" in assets under management (AUM) — moving up one spot from last year. This marks the firm's third, consecutive appearance on the list.
Hewins, which manages approximately $4.45 billion of clients' assets, focuses on putting the client experience at the forefront of its wealth management practice. In collaboration with its affiliate Wipfli LLP, one of the nation's leading CPA and consulting firms, Hewins strives to enhance clients' financial lives with an integrated wealth management approach and a holistic range of personal and business services.
As part of its annual report, Accounting Today chronicled the top challenges currently facing the financial services industry, from the rise of "robo-advice" to the uncertain regulatory environment, notably the U.S. Department of Labor's (DOL) fiduciary rule. The rule, which requires all investment advisors who provide services to retirement investors to act in their clients' best interests, took the industry by storm after it was introduced by the DOL last April. But for Hewins, the regulation only affirms the standard of service its advisors have provided clients since opening for business in 1999.
"At the core of our firm is a keen desire to see our clients make the best-possible decisions for their families and their financial lives," says Brad Mueller, CLU®, ChFC®, principal and chief practice officer (CPO) at Hewins. "It is an honor to be recognized by Accounting Today, among our peers and prominent leaders in the industry."
To qualify for Accounting Today's exclusive list, companies must be CPA firms that have a wealth management/financial planning practice (including subsidiaries and affiliates). At minimum, one of the advisors in the practice must be a licensed CPA. Hewins did not pay to be considered for this ranking. For the full list and ranking criteria, please view the original report. The award discussed herein is not indicative of future performance or representative of any client experience.
