Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins Ranks Once Again in Financial Advisor Magazine's List of the Nation's Largest RIAs in Assets Under Management
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., July 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Hewins Financial | Wipfli Hewins (Hewins) — a national, CPA-based financial advisor — continues to solidify its place as a leader within the financial services industry, having earned a spot on Financial Advisor (FA) Magazine's list of the nation's largest registered investment advisors (RIAs) for the eighth consecutive year.
FA Magazine's 2017 RIA Survey and Ranking report included 638 firms, among which Hewins took sixty-second place — growing total assets under management (AUM) by 13 percent to approximately $4.23 billion at the end of 2016. Over the past year, Hewins and other ranked firms have managed to grow their businesses and increase AUM amid continued regulatory shifts, a new administration and the rise of automated services.
Hewins has worked to remain at the forefront of the industry with an invigorated focus on the client experience, innovation through technology and entry into new market segments, including women investors — which hold decision-making power over $14 trillion of the nation's collective, personal wealth, according to the BMO Wealth Institute. Through its Invest in Yourself campaign, Hewins provides female clients with resources to help navigate the complexities that wealth can bring and circumvent financial challenges specific to women.
Comprehensive client education is and will continue to be a hallmark of Hewins' advisory approach. "As a fiduciary, our firm's driving mission is to help our clients feel confident in their financial lives and future path," says Erika Young, CRPS®, CPFA, AIF®, principal and director of Employer Plan Services at Hewins. "We are always challenging ourselves to enhance our services, capabilities and support to better meet their needs and goals."
To be eligible for FA Magazine's ranking, advisory firms were required to be registered investment advisors; file their own Form ADV statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC); and provide financial planning and related services to individual clients. Corporate RIA firms and investment advisor representatives (IARs) were not eligible for this survey. Hewins did not pay to be considered.
