Any situation where mobile electronic equipment is necessary benefits from the highly versatile mobile equipment rack, the first in a new family of Optima Stantron rugged rack systems. Applications include broadcast video and audio production studios, hospitals and medical/surgical offices, educational institutions as well as other areas where mobile electronics are widely used.
A longtime supplier of racks, consoles and mobile carts to the worldwide electronics markets, Optima Stantron designed the new cart to provide effortless rolling of electronics across different floor surfaces and sometimes awkward thresholds.
The highly modular platform enables infinite design options to accommodate the wide variety of electronics that might be required in a mobile cart, from cable access to cooling issues to a highly adaptable pivoting arm for monitors or tablets.
Optima Stantron's mobile equipment rack is constructed of a sturdy, yet lightweight, aluminum frame and ships fully assembled with 360 degrees rolling casters. Available with 21" to 28" rackmount opening heights, it can be tailored to specific cooling and cabling requirements using a wide range of standard options. The mobile equipment rack can also be designed to handle EMC and/or rugged requirements where necessary.
The new cart offers various functional and aesthetic options as well. There are several vented panels and door styles to choose from and the standard Formica countertop can be replaced with a range of other surface types and colors.
Accessories such as shelves, drawers, writing surfaces and cable management can be added to further personalize the cart's configuration.
An optional streamlined, compact dual-pivot arm is easily adjustable up to 18" high and 19" deep and securely clamps to the cart's top. The arm assembly provides neat cable management for an easier work environment and increased mobility.
An optional tablet mount specifically designed to match the mobile equipment rack can be added; it is designed to accommodate any tablet up to 10.6" and can be customized to match the color scheme of the cart.
Pricing for the mobile equipment rack starts at $799 in low quantities. Delivery is approximately six to eight weeks ARO.
