TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the latest research data released by the global dating app SweetRing, more than 76% of white Americans are interested in dating Latin Americans, while over 87% of the Latin Americans said they would date white Americans. These statistics seemingly contradict with what the U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump advocates.
Highway or High Wall?
The dating app, SweetRing, mainly targets singles looking for serious relationships that could potentially lead to marriages. A recent questionnaire directed at SweetRing users in the United States revealed that more than 76% of the white Americans look forward to dating Latin Americans.
In addition, data analysis extracted from user-activity entailed that one out of four white American males hoped to date Latinas. The proportion was even higher for white American females, with one out of three seeking a Latin date.
The findings of this behavioral analysis of dating app users seems to challenge the statement of "building the border wall" by U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Trump has called for a high wall to be built along the U.S.-Mexico border to reduce migration flows with the goal of maintaining the current proportion of white Americans in the United States.
However, it appears that white and Latin Americans are impervious to political influence. It appears that a high wall cannot stop the flame of love, and instead, a bigger highway should be built to create more ideal pairs.
Meeting Your Mr./Mrs. Right Through Online Dating Apps
In its analysis of user behavior, SweetRing discovered that users were using the app's unique feature of asking about personal perspectives (Questions) to learn more about each other.
As an initial question, up to 83% of white Americans asked their potential partners, "Are you a jealous person?", while 71% asked, "What are the qualities of your ideal partner?" at some point in their conversations.
Tom, a 34 year-old working in the technology industry says that although he is a white American, race would never be one of his prerequisites for choosing a potential mate. He says that dating apps help him quickly find ideal partners, and as long as they get along, can move the relationship to the next steps.
A dating app dedicated to serious dating, SweetRing is equipped with unique algorithms, pairing mechanisms, a user-friendly interface, and a rigorous review process allowing users to find their desired partners more accurately. The app is committed to helping users find their ideal partners, and has successfully matched over 50,000,000 users to date.
