HILLSBORO, Ore., Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hillsboro Solar Advantage, a city-wide solar incentive program, offers negotiated discounts and financing options for those interested in locally produced solar (also known as photovoltaic or "PV") systems. The effort combines PV system savings with job creation and is in partnership with the City of Hillsboro, SolarWorld USA of Hillsboro, the headquarters for the nation's largest PV manufacturer, and LiveLight Energy, the largest installer of SolarWorld Sunkits® in the United States. Final prices will vary upon financing and system size. Most Hillsboro Solar Advantage installations are estimated to be discounted by at least 25 percent below market prices in addition to savings from 2011 state and federal tax and other incentives says LiveLight Energy founder and CEO Keith Knowles.
