Himfr Forecasts Wood Flooring Development Trends
BEIJING, Aug. 13 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Himfr.com, one of China's leading B2B search platforms with more than 30 B2B industry websites to its name, forecasts wood flooring development trends.
Himfr reports that from eight years ago, in the Americas, Europe and some other international market, China's wood flooring products gradually crowded out those from other countries, accounting for 20% of the market, which shows China's wood flooring industry in the international market has strong advantages, but also shows China's wood flooring quality and price in the international market also have competitiveness.
Himfr analyzes that in the last three years, great change has taken place. Regarding price, North America, Europe and other places have also cut down prices; on the other hand, more and more international markets have begun to certification, which for China's wood flooring is not a small business threshold. Lastly, transportation and logistics costs increase, while raw materials are in short supply, which also has made China's wood flooring business operating costs increase. So, this year the Chinese wood flooring international market share continues to decline.
China's wood flooring's cost performance is higher in the international market; however, Chinese enterprises cannot exceed the design and services bottlenecks, so it is difficult to meet local consumer tastes. Lack of understanding of foreign culture becomes a market transaction barrier. Because of this, many Chinese products in foreign markets can only target general consumers, but often avoid some niche or added value markets.
For different wood flooring manufacturers and suppliers, the largest trade barriers is legal timber. This trade barrier will become stronger because of the Japanese procurement law, the United States Lacey Act and European logging policy.
The current Chinese wood flooring industry's concentration degree is not high, considering capital, technology, manpower; resources and other elements of the market economy are not concentrated. Facing the market economy, wood flooring enterprises must address current product competition, service competition, the business model competition and industry platforms competition. The higher level of competition creates higher requirements for enterprises' innovation capabilities, and production and financing capacities. The best way is to create a new ecosystem for excavation and meet users' new and higher demands with innovation and expanding scale, thereby improving the brand.
