WASHINGTON, July 18, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Horizon Air Flight Attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), today ratified a new contract. The five-year agreement contains pay increases, locks in benefits and improves scheduling rules for the over 500 Flight Attendants. The contract, which becomes effective August 4, also provides for greater flexibility and enhanced quality of life.
"Flight Attendants provided clear direction for our negotiating committee and management worked with us to address our priorities," said Lexie Graham, acting AFA President at Horizon Air. "Member mobilization backed up our discussions at the table and created real interest on the part of management to reach an agreement. This contract is a direct reflection of the hard work of Horizon Air Flight Attendants."
