Hortonworks Files Registration Statement with SEC for an Initial Public Offering

PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Hortonworks, Inc. today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed initial public offering of its common stock.  The number of shares to be sold and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.

Goldman, Sachs & Co. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will act as joint lead book-running managers for the offering, RBC Capital Markets, LLC will act as book-running manager, and Pacific Crest Securities LLC, Wells Fargo Securities, LLC and Blackstone Capital Markets will act as co-managers.
