DALLAS, Nov. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hospice Pharmacy Solutions, a Dallas-based pharmacy benefit management service (PBM), announced Monday that it has merged Sacramento-based hospice PBM Outcome Resources into its operations. The announcement was made jointly by Mike Nault, CEO of Hospice Pharmacy Solutions, and Jack Sayler, president of Outcome Resources.
"Both companies have a proven track record of delivering customer service excellence and cost-effective pharmacy benefit management services to hospice providers," said Nault. The corporate headquarters will be in Dallas and will operate under the name Hospice Pharmacy Solutions. The new executive leadership will include Nault as executive chairman and Sayler as president. The leadership team also includes Hansil Kalaria, senior vice president of Operations; Beckie Long, vice president of Account Management; Ly Dang, vice president of Operations; and Corey Petry, vice president of Sales. "We are excited to introduce this to the marketplace," said Sayler. "We now have a proven, repeatable, nurse-friendly system that enhances patient care, provides operational efficiencies and delivers ongoing reductions in medication costs."
Hospice providers benefit from Hospice Pharmacy Solutions' nationwide network of more than 65,000 retail, closed-door and specialty pharmacies. In addition, hospice professionals have 24/7/365 support from clinical pharmacists, account managers and customer service representatives. Other services include medication reviews, education programs, online enrollment and technology enhancements.
The terms of the merger were not announced.
