Curious World launch event in New York City invites kids to tap into wonder through fun and engaging activities inspired by the digital app

NEW YORK, Nov. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Global learning company Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) announced today an interactive family-friendly event to celebrate the launch of Curious World,  with special guest Molly Sims, at The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York City, on Saturday, Nov. 21 from noon – 4pm E.T.

The event will bring to life content and activities from HMH's new early learning app for iPad® and iPhone®, Curious World, for kids ages 3 – 7. Early learners and their families will have the opportunity to try a selection of Curious World's expansive collection of games, videos and eBooks, take photos with Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat, and enjoy interactive activities like soccer mini-golf, skyscraper building, and story time.

Curious World, available initially as an app for iPad® and iPhone®, is a subscription-based experience, featuring a curated collection of playful learning content, as well as a parent dashboard and tips for offline learning activities. Curious World contains over 500 unique games, videos and books, with new content added to the service on a weekly basis. The app can be downloaded for free from the App Store℠ with a limited sample of content and basic features. Access to the full customized content experience is available on a subscription basis at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year.
