Houston Chronicle's new magazine Style highlights city's fashion, food, beauty and luxury lifestyle stories Weekly publication is available to Sunday subscribers
HOUSTON, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Houstonians love to shop. Houston leads the nation in retail sector job growth and over-indexes the US population in every major consumer category – particularly luxury automotive, travel, fashion and furniture. With those readers in mind, the Houston Chronicle Media Group is launching Style, a premium weekly publication devoted to timely local coverage of fashion, design, beauty, travel, cuisine and luxury lifestyle topics.
The inaugural issue, which publishes Sunday, Nov. 11 in the Houston Chronicle and at chron.com/style, covers the faces, places and social events in Houston from Chronicle lifestyle reporters Lindsay Love, Greg Morago and Joy Sewing, edited by Melissa Aguilar and Jody Schmal. Features include a 20s-inspired fashion spread, a lustlist of chic must-haves and an interview with Christian Louboutin.

The printed edition will be available only in home delivered copies of the newspaper, Chronicle president John T. O'Loughlin said.
