District-wide initiative to increase college and career readiness through student performance monitoring

Houston ISD armed its high schools and middle schools with Naviance Succeed, a platform that helps schools promote college and career readiness through increased collaboration, rigor and transparency.

Student engagement is on the rise at Lee High School, one of Houston ISD's fastest-improving schools. With a large at-risk student population that faces language deficits and other challenges, Lee faculty and staff spearheaded the adoption of Naviance Succeed. Through strong leadership, committed staff and engaged students, Lee has the highest number of visits to Naviance's student and family facing site, Family Connections, with an average of 26 visits per student.
