HOUSTON, May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Noted Houston attorney Mark Lanier, founder of The Lanier Law Firm, has earned selection as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA), recognizing the country's top trial attorneys.
The LCA is an invitation-only honorary society dedicated to promoting superior advocacy, professionalism and ethical standards among trial lawyers. Composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers, LCA Fellows are selected based on their legal excellence and accomplishments in litigation and superior ethical reputations.
Mr. Lanier was among the new LCA Fellows inducted at the group's spring conference held May 1-3, 2013, at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Calif.
"The LCA is an outstanding group of attorneys and I am flattered to be included among their ranks," says Mr. Lanier. "I am proud to know that other lawyers have recognized my ethical and effective work in the courtroom."
Mr. Lanier was recognized earlier this year in the annual Texas' Top Rated Lawyers listing, and was named the 2012 Go-To Lawyer in personal injury litigation by Texas Lawyer newspaper. He also earned a spot on the Top 10 Texas Super Lawyers list for 2012, the 2013 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, and the Chambers USA legal guide as one of the country's"Leaders in Their Field," in product liability and mass tort cases.
