RICHARDSON, Texas, April 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- The Board of Directors of Anritsu Corporation announces that the global communications leader has named Wade Hulon President of Anritsu Company, the United States subsidiary of Anritsu Corporation, and Vice President of Anritsu Corporation, effective April 1, 2014. In his new position, Hulon will oversee all sales, marketing and business operations of Anritsu throughout the Americas, as well as the design and manufacturing operations of Anritsu's Microwave Measurement Division (MMD) based in Morgan Hill, CA.
Hulon succeeds Frank Tiernan, who held the positions for the past decade. Tiernan has been with Anritsu for 35 years, during which he held a number of management positions for Anritsu MMD.
Hulon has a distinguished career that spans more than two decades in the test and measurement industry. He joined Anritsu as National Sales Manager in 2006, and has served as the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Anritsu Company for the past six years. During that time, Anritsu has taken a customer-centric approach that has solidified relationships with key accounts and enabled Anritsu to develop solutions to meet specific market needs.
"It has been a tremendous experience at Anritsu, as I have had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most talented professionals in test and measurement. The commitment to working with customers and meeting their ever-changing needs by developing test solutions has been integral to the success of Anritsu and a philosophy that begins with upper management. I look forward to continuing the precedent of success and innovation established by my predecessor, Frank Tiernan, to maintain Anritsu's position as a premier provider of test solutions for the communications industry," said Hulon.
