A small-town teacher in Denver, NY has found a way to stop "chemical warfare under the sheets"

DENVER, N.Y., March 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Francis Bibbo has invented a "blanket" - really a comforter with a layer of activated carbon fabric - that he says solves the problem of flatulence in bed and creates a better marriage in the process.

He said he got the idea from military chemical suits, which use the same kind of fabric. He had bought a suit at a surplus store years ago and tried using it during his bow hunts for deer in order to prevent the sensitive noses of deer from detecting his normal human scent. But he noticed that if one were to "pass wind" while wearing the suit, it was undetectable to the human nose.

He got the bright idea that this would be great ammunition against "romanticus interuptus," though couples are not the only possible market.
