Hunt Realty, Reunion Tower and AT&T Present "Streaming Lights at Reunion Tower"

AT&T is the presenting sponsor of the event, one of the largest shows of its kind in the Central time zone that features pyrotechnics fired from 560 feet above ground. The AT&T Streaming Lights at Reunion Tower celebratory fireworks show will run for 8 minutes, with a synchronized music score. This dazzling display will feature more than 4,000 pyrotechnic special effects with the magnificent downtown skyline as its backdrop. With AT&T's headquarters based in Dallas, the company joined in supporting this event as a gift to the city and surrounding community.

Many locations around the city will host watch parties for revelers ringing in the New Year with the perfect view of Reunion Tower. The best vantage points will be on the west side of the Trinity River, along the levees and Trinity Overlook Park or Trinity Groves. The music score will be simulcast on NOW 102.9 FM.

"We're combining the ultimate fireworks spectacular with the city's most iconic landmark to ring in 2017," said Lori Lee, AT&T senior executive vice president and global marketing officer. "It's going to be a memorable night in our hometown."

Due to safety requirements, the Reunion Tower lawn will be closed to the public. Vehicle access will be restricted in the immediate vicinity of Reunion Tower and the Hyatt Regency Hotel and there will not be public viewing areas in this space. In addition, Sports Street and Hotel Street will be closed to traffic. Only credentialed media will be permitted to access the media area via Reunion Boulevard and Sports Street.
