Admiral Day (ret.) is a seasoned cyber-security expert with over 34 years of Federal Technology Leadership. Day is a highly accomplished leader with extensive experience as a Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Director of Cyber Security. Through these roles the Admiral brings a deep combined understanding of both security and operational requirements of large-scale systems serving Federal organizations.
Day was presented CIO Magazine's 'CIO 100' award two years in a row, in addition, in 2014 Federal Computer Week named Day the Federal 100 Award Winner.

Day Jr., United States Coast Guard (retired) was the Assistant Commandant for Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Information Technology, Chief Information Officer, and Commander of Coast Guard Cyber Command from July 2009 until July 2014. During his service in the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG), Day progressed through increasingly challenging command positions to the senior executive level, as a two-star Admiral and served as CIO and Commander CG Cyber Command.
