New Board Members
Connie Chan, HYSTA Board Member
Connie is a Partner at Andreessen Horowitz where she focuses on consumer venture (mostly Series A, B, C). Previously, Connie led business development and marketing efforts for HP Palm in China. Prior to HP Palm, she worked as a founding Senior Associate at Elevation Partners. Connie graduated from Stanford University with a MS in Management Science & Engineering, and a BA in Economics.
Eric Chen, HYSTA Board Member
Dr. Chen is a Managing Director of Silver Lake, a pioneer in private technology investing with $30B revenue. Prior to joining Silver Lake in 2008, Dr. Chen was a Senior Vice President and Executive Committee member of ASML. Dr. Chen joined ASML following its acquisition of Brion Technologies in 2007, the company he co-founded in 2002 and served as the CEO since inception. Dr. Chen is currently on the board of Allyes Online Media Holding and Hillstone Networks. Dr. Chen represented China in the International Physics Olympics in Germany, earning a Silver Medal. Dr. Chen studied Physics at Peking University and received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
New Management Team Members
Vivien Wang, CFO of HYSTA
Newly appointed as CFO of HYSTA, Vivien oversees the organization's financial health and revenue model, and supports its executive directors. Vivien is currently a partner at Deloitte. Being one of the youngest partners with a Chinese background at any big four public accounting firms, Vivien brings in extensive experience in public accounting and international tax, providing tax consulting, compliance and tax accounting assurance services to various high-tech and venture capital clients. Her experience includes structuring and globally managing both U.S. inbound and outbound investments. Vivien assisted in the planning and implementation of the worldwide restructurings, mergers, acquisitions, and IP migrations for multinational clients.
Lilly Huang, Director of HYSTA Executive Program
Lilly has been appointed Director of HYSTA Executive Program. Lilly is a director of Silicon Valley Bank's Global Gateway, which assists innovation companies with their international market expansion. She has over 10 years of experience helping companies solve their most critical financial and strategic challenges when they expand internationally. Before joining SVB, Huang was a director of the China Desk for the City of San Francisco, based in Shanghai, and successfully helped more than a dozen Chinese companies set up U.S. subsidiaries in San Francisco.

Coinciding with the arrival of the new board members and management team members, HYSTA is also excited to announce this year's Annual Conference and CEO Summit, with the theme centering on the next generation of Chinese Entrepreneurs.
