HYUNDAI CAPITAL AMERICA NAMES NEW PRESIDENT & CEO

IRVINE, Calif., June 2, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyundai Capital America (HCA) announced Jim Drotman as the President & Chief Executive Officer effective June 2. In this role, Drotman will lead HCA's partnerships with Hyundai Motor America, Kia America, and Genesis Motor America to better serve Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis dealers and customers while positioning HCA as the premier financing partner for innovative mobility businesses across Hyundai Motor Group. Drotman succeeds Marcelo Brutti in that role, who has taken on a new role with Hyundai Capital Services as Executive Vice President, Head of Global Business Division and Head of Hyundai Capital Americas Region.

Most recently, Drotman served as Chief Transformation Officer (CTO) for Ford Credit. During his time there, he led the development of a comprehensive digital financing platform tailored for commercial customers, significantly enhancing the customer experience and streamlining operations.

Prior to his CTO role, Drotman held various leadership positions within Ford Credit, including Executive Vice President overseeing operations in the U.S., Canada, and International Markets; Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for Ford Credit Europe; Managing Director of Ford Credit Britain; Vice President of Marketing in North America; and President of Ford Credit China.

In addition to his success in financial services, Drotman has also served on the Board of Directors for RouteOne LLC, contributing to strategic decisions in automotive financing solutions.

Drotman earned a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a master's degree from Southern Methodist University.
