Automaker Ranks No. 1 for Exceptional Bumper-to-Bumper and Roadside Assistance Coverage

FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., Jan. 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- As certified pre-owned (CPO) vehicles are more popular than ever, Hyundai announced today that it was recognized for having the best CPO program in the industry, according to car-shopping destination Edmunds.com. Hyundai ranked No. 1 for offering extraordinary powertrain bumper-to-bumper and roadside assistance coverage compared with other luxury and mainstream brands.

Hyundai CPO vehicles earned the top honor for being backed up with a manufacturer's warranty. In addition to the striking design, safety, technology and uncompromised workmanship found in all Hyundai vehicles, a Hyundai CPO vehicle comes fully equipped with a suite of benefits that Hyundai values at more than $2,000.1

Edmunds recognized Hyundai for going above and beyond for its CPO program. Hyundai includes vehicles up to five years old and with 60,000 or fewer miles. Its CPO program also includes a warranty for the remainder of the original five-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty and 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty. Furthermore, owners have access to 10 years/unlimited miles for roadside assistance, $50 deductible for warranty repairs, and rental car and travel interruption reimbursement for covered repairs. In addition, owners can transfer the vehicle to a private-party buyer and, as an added bonus, get a three-month subscription to Sirius/XM satellite radio and a complimentary CARFAX Vehicle History Report™.
