IAI to Exhibit at the 2014 IEEE Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Communications
ROCKVILLE, Md., Aug. 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- IAI will be serving as Silver Patron and exhibiting the Radio Frequency Network Channel Emulation Simulation Tool (RFnest™) product at the annual IEEE international Symposium on Personal, Indoor, and Mobile Communications (PIMRC) at the Capital Hilton in Washington, DC from 2 through 5 September 2014. The PIMRC is the premier conference in the wireless research arena and has a long history of bringing together academia, industry and regulatory bodies, with extensive International participation.
IAI's RFnest™ is a Test and Evaluation (T&E) environment for mobile networks in a laboratory environment, enabling accelerated development, maturation, and fielding of new radios, protocols, and network solutions. Users can create complex test scenarios, including real-life environments (e.g., rural areas and urban canyons) and recreate operational communication environments in a laboratory setting. RFnest™ is also the only commercially available channel emulator that supports the seamless integration and communications of real radio nodes and virtual (simulated) radio/network nodes. The inclusion of virtual nodes enables test scenarios to be expanded to hundreds of nodes.
The integrated RFview™ data display and visualization tools provide the user with a reliable and repeatable assessment of communications protocols and network performance. RFview™ interfaces with third party channel modeling tools as well as commercially available network emulation software including the Extendable Mobile Ad-hoc Network Emulator (EMANE) and the Common Open Research Emulator (CORE).
Please stop by our booth to learn how RFnest™ advances the state-of-the art in network design and implementation, allowing real radio nodes and virtual (simulated) radio/network nodes to experience an RF environmental identical to the real world.
