Iberdrola USA Companies Among the Best in Utility Customer Satisfaction

ROCHESTER, N.Y., Feb. 15, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Three Iberdrola USA owned electric utilities companies received high marks for customer satisfaction in the 2013 Electric Utility Business Customer Satisfaction Study^SM published by J.D. Power and Associates.  

Central Maine Power (CMP) ranked first, and Rochester Gas and Electric (RG&E) tied for fourth in business customer satisfaction among midsize electric utilities in the east. New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) tied for fourth among large electric utility companies in the east.

This is the second consecutive year Central Maine Power ranked first in the business customer satisfaction study and the third time since 2009. CMP also ranked first in J.D. Power and Associates residential customer satisfaction in 2012; their fourth time on top since 2008.

The J.D. Power and Associates 2013 Electric Utility Residential Customer Satisfaction Study^SM was based on interviews with representatives of more than 25,700 U.S. businesses that spend at least $250 monthly on electricity. More than 90 utility brands serving more than 11.7 million business customers were evaluated in the study. Overall customer satisfaction is measured by examining six factors: power quality and reliability; billing and payment; corporate citizenship; price; communications; and customer service.
