NEW YORK, Sept. 12, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IBT Media (http://corp.ibt.com), an international digital-only news company that acquired Newsweek in August, today announced Jim Impoco as the Editor-in-Chief of Newsweek.
A veteran journalist for over 20 years, Jim comes to IBT Media from Thomson Reuters, where he spent four years as both Enterprise Editor and Executive Editor for Thomson Reuters Digital. In his most recent role, Jim was responsible for revamping the company's consumer-facing digital platforms and overseeing the award-winning redesign of NewsPro.

As announced previously, IAC will continue to operate Newsweek for a period of 60-days. IBT media will take over the operation on October 1.
