IDA Supports WWi's Desalinate Video Newscast
LONDON, April 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- PennWell Corporation's Water & Wastewater International (WWi) magazine has partnered with the International Desalination Association (IDA) on its bi-weekly newscast, Desalinate.
Delivered every other week to over 35,000 industry professionals, the Desalinate newscast comprises video, news and analysis – rounding up the latest activity from the global desalination industry over the previous two-week period.
As part of the agreement, WWi magazine and IDA will work together on developing content for the newscast, reporting on latest association news with members receiving a link to the video report.
The partnership will see WWi's video production expertise joining with the IDA's respected knowledge base and global community.
WWi brand is a leading global media source, especially its video coverage, in the water and wastewater industry. The magazine was the official video partner of the Wasser Berlin International 2013 conference and exhibition in Germany and regularly reports from industry events with video interviews, news announcements and show daily videos.
Timm Dower, publisher of WWi magazine, said: "The way in which people consume media changes continuously. As we move beyond our respected print magazines and expand our digitally delivered content, we are finding many business professionals preferring to access industry news in video format. The IDA is the leading global body for desalination and we are proud to partner with the association to further develop the newscast."
Pat Burke, secretary general of the IDA, said: "IDA is pleased to partner with Water & Wastewater International and support the Desalinate video newscast. With today's 24/7 news cycle and the proliferation of information from a wide variety of sources, the timeliness and quality of that information is of utmost importance. By providing video coverage of important industry news as well as a segment dedicated to news from IDA, Desalinate will not only reach our members in a new and exciting way, but also expand awareness of desalination among other stakeholders in the global water treatment industry."
