IDEXX Laboratories Elects Anne Szostak to Board of Directors

WESTBROOK, Maine, July 16, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. (NASDAQ: IDXX) announced today that M. Anne Szostak has been elected to its Board of Directors. Ms. Szostak is President and Chief Executive Officer of Szostak Partners LLC, a consulting firm that advises executive officers on strategic and human resources issues. Before launching Szostak Partners in June 2004, Ms. Szostak held several executive positions during her 31-year career with Fleet Bank, a diversified financial services company (now part of Bank of America). From 1998 until her retirement in 2004, she served as Executive Vice President of FleetBoston Financial, and from 2001 to 2003, she served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fleet Bank-Rhode Island. Ms. Szostak serves on the boards of several other public companies, including Tupperware Brands Corporation since 2000, Belo Corp. since 2004, and Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. since 2008. Ms. Szostak is also Governor and Chairperson Emeritus of the Boys & Girls Club of America, and she is a member of the boards of directors of The Rhode Island Foundation and Bryant University.
