ieAssurance Launches International API Specification Q1 & Q2 Training and Awareness Programs
HOUSTON, Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ieAssurance (www.ieassurance.com), a joint venture between Faithful+Gould and TIEC, is now accepting registrations for the international training program to conduct the approved American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification Q1 and Q2 training classes in key energy hub locations beginning in March 2014. The locations include Anchorage, Aberdeen, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro and Abu Dhabi.
"I am pleased to be leading this multi-city program with our joint venture partner and TIEC President Ed Durante," stated ieAssurance Global Director Jim Grindinger. "The program supports the new Q1 9th Edition and new Q2 Quality Management System Specifications, the first of its kind in the upstream energy industry."
The program provides global access for education relating to the latest Quality Management System specifications to help organizations prepare for implementation of the new standards and to understand the importance of unifying and modernizing global quality standards of this massive and complex industry. ieAssurance is a certified American Petroleum University (API-U) training provider and the classes are taught by API approved trainers who are all respected industry experts in quality management for the upstream energy sector.
In advance of the international launch, ieAssurance has been conducting on-site training and awareness meetings with firms in the United States, United Kingdom, Southeast Asia and continental Europe. "In September, ieAssurance successfully delivered the first public transition to Q1 9th Edition and Q2 training courses in Singapore. In October 2013, we traveled to the United Kingdom and met with several North Sea operators and service companies providing awareness meetings around Q1 and Q2 requirements and how the new standards will dramatically improve business processes internally and with their complex supply chains," said Grindinger. He also added, "The support regarding these initiatives and requirements was positive which is why we established training locations to meet the anticipated demand."
ieAssurance also provides advanced training for the core topics of Q2 for risk management, contingency planning, and management of change that are applied specifically to upstream oil and gas operations which are proven to greatly enhance Q2 knowledge within an organization. These applied courses are an excellent complement to the API-U training.
