IEEE GlobalSpec, Inc. Names Steve Kirkpatrick to Its Board of Directors

ALBANY, N.Y., March 20, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- IEEE GlobalSpec, Inc., a for-profit subsidiary of IEEE and the leading provider of digital media solutions designed to connect industrial marketers with their target audience of engineering and technical professionals, today named Steve Kirkpatrick to its Board of Directors.

Kirkpatrick brings a wealth of financial experience to the Board of IEEE GlobalSpec, Inc. He currently serves as Commercial Director and Global Head of Sales for North Sails, the world's leading sail making company. Prior to this position, he was the CFO and Head of Business Development at Focal Upright, an award-winning ergonomic furniture company. Previously he held senior positions with Glass Lewis, Discovery Capital Partners, and Robertson Stephens. Kirkpatrick holds a BA in Economics from Tufts University and a MBA with concentrations in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
