360SA Summit to Showcase End-to-End 360-Video, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality Solutions from IM360 for the Situational Awareness Community

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- IM360, a joint venture between Immersive Media and Digital Domain, will present the first annual 360SA Summit 2015, playing host to an invite-only group of the military, situational awareness contractors and integrators.

Through interactive experiences, 360SA Summit is designed to educate the military and its affiliates on the latest in 360 situational awareness technologies and solutions. Navigating guests through hands-on integrated sessions, the summit covers hardware and software solutions from Immersive Media, workflow and applications by IM360, and visual effects and digital simulations by Digital Domain – from virtual reality and augmented reality, to live mobile 360-video broadcast and advanced real-time visual simulations. Guests will take a real-world ride-along through Los Angeles, simulating a Humvee in the field, capturing live 360-video while transmitting in real-time back to master control. Guests will also experience a virtual trip to Mars, transporting them on a space mission where they'll feel what it's like to be on another planet.

The 360SA Summit 2015 will take place on December 2, 2015 in Los Angeles with a guest list that includes Boeing, CACI, DARPA, Department of Defense, US Army, and others.
