Impact100 Launches Oakland County Chapter, Raises $100K for Local Nonprofits
OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich., May 10, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Impact100, a woman's philanthropic group (501(c)(3)), announced the founding of a new chapter in Oakland County, Michigan, after successfully recruiting 100 women from the area. Each member donated $1,000, resulting in the new chapter's inaugural grant opportunity of $100,000. The chapter is now calling for nonprofits that predominantly serve Oakland County to apply for the grant.
The grant recipient must serve its community under one of Impact100 Oakland County's five focus areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Environment & Recreation, Family and Health & Wellness. Organizations interested in applying are invited to attend the Nonprofit Grant Application Workshop hosted at Shain Park Realty on Wednesday, May 18 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

"Our Board of Directors is comprised of a varied group of women, all of whom are passionate about our mission to make a meaningful, positive impact on our Oakland County community.
