InCharge Showcases Bankruptcy Courses at NABT Annual Convention
Nonprofit organization will exhibit at Colorado Springs bankruptcy event, September 5-9, 2012
ORLANDO, Fla., Sept. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- InCharge® Debt Solutions ("InCharge"), a nonprofit credit counseling agency, will be on hand to showcase its bankruptcy courses at the 2012 Annual Convention of the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees (NABT). The event will be held at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colorado from September 5-9, 2012.
InCharge will be showcasing its Pre-Filing Credit Counseling, and Pre-Discharge Debtor Education courses during the convention. Both courses can be found online at www.PersonalFinanceEducation.com. InCharge, with its affiliate InCharge Education Foundation, has helped clients complete over 1 million bankruptcy courses.
Educational sessions at the NABT convention will include programs on hiring professionals, accounting and tax issues, D&O liability claims, ethics and professionalism, and several case law studies. Expected to attend will be bankruptcy trustees, attorneys, and representatives from organizations like InCharge Debt Solutions that offer vital services to those consumers needing bankruptcy courses and counseling.
"The West is still hard-hit by bankruptcies with Nevada ranked as the number one state for per capita filings," said Beth Mason, InCharge's Director of Outreach Programs for Bankruptcy Services. "Colorado is not far behind, ranking number four in the country, with 6.12 filings per 1,000 state residents. This is a national event but the setting certainly is in the center of the consumer bankruptcy problem which makes it an ideal place for InCharge to showcase our courses to the top bankruptcy trustees and attorneys."
