Indiana Beach Debuts Two All-New Events For Fall 2017

MONTICELLO, Ind., Sept. 14, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Indiana Beach extends the season into the Fall for the first time by adding two all-new events, Oktoberfest and Halloween Horror.

Oktoberfest features traditional German food and entertainment

Debuting September 9, Oktoberfest will run Saturdays and Sundays through September 24, featuring specialty food offerings, a wide selection from local and national breweries and traditional live music and cultural entertainment including a German Polka Band, "Die Musikmeisters." Oktoberfest tents will serve German themed food including bratwurst, frankfurters and sauerkraut, potato salad and apple strudel as well as seasonal craft beers.

On September 30, Indiana Beach transforms into something spookier: Halloween Horror. Open weekends through October 29, Halloween Horror will provide treats-by-day, fright-by-night thrills and chills.

By day, children can enjoy pumpkin decorating, costume contests and a trick-or-treat trail as well as Indiana Beach's regular season rides and attractions.

By night, the bravest will journey down "Nightmare on Shafer Drive," the Grand Ballroom's haunted exhibit, visiting strange storefronts like a butcher shop and the local mortuary. The park will also re-imagine the historic Frankenstein's Castle for a look inside "Frank's Funhouse" as well as a zombie train attack and two terrifying scare zones.

The Boardwalk Stage will play host to the "Monster Mash" as a DJ plays from 6 pm to 10 pm each night. Even traditional rides like the Bumper Cars will have a haunted Halloween flair.
