Individual Provider One Medicaid claim billing system to replace Social Service Payment System for 40,000 in-home workers in Washington State
BOSTON, Feb. 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- On March 1, 2016 PCG Public Partnerships, LLC., and Washington State will implement a new billing and payroll system for individual in-home personal care and respite Medicaid claims. The system, called Individual Provider One (IPOne), is an online, electronic system designed to make claims easier for providers. It will also comply with federal laws as well as the requirements of the SEIU collective bargaining requirement for bi-monthly payments. This system will replace the Social Service Payment System (SPSS) currently in use which serves about 40,000 in home providers.
In preparation for the launch of IPOne, trainings have been underway for in home providers and will continue through the transition. The training sessions are offered in multiple languages to support the diversity of the provider community. In addition, a call center, located in Sea-Tac, has been operating multi-lingual lines since November 2015 to assist providers with questions and help in filling out registration and enrollment paperwork. Providers have been mailed Welcome Packets explaining the transition, important dates and registration materials. To use the new system, registration is required and can be done through the IPOne web portal, www.ipone.org, through mail by returning the Information page found in the Welcome packet or by contacting the IPOne Sea-Tac Call Center at 1-844-240-1526. These resources will remain in place to assist providers with the transition.
