INDUSTRIAL DISTRIBUTION GROUP (IDG) joins Sonepar

CHARLESTON, S.C., Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Sonepar North America, a subsidiary of the privately held Sonepar Group, announced today that Industrial Distribution Group (IDG), a portfolio company held by affiliates of LKCM Capital Group, LLC and headquartered in Belmont, NC, has signed an agreement to join the Sonepar Group.

Formed in 1997, IDG is the largest privately owned industrial MRO distributor.  The company serves its customers from 42 locations in the U.S. and over 170 on-site customer locations in North America, Asia, and Europe, and operates in three major businesses: Industrial Distribution, Integrated Supply Solutions and Energy Distribution.
