The APEC CBET Chile workshop not only included speakers from DHgate.com, Tencent, and UnionPay, but also local leaders such as the Executive Director of the Chile Pacific Foundation Loreto Leyton, the Director of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce George Lever, the Chief of Staff for the Trade Minister of Chile Nicolas Shubert.
Vice President of Tencent Qidian Wang Xiangyu discussed social commerce, which is the use of social channels to facilitate commerce and transactions, and the way it is changing the way international and domestic business communications alike are realized.
