New Hires Expand Investment Team to Better Serve Clients
AUSTIN, Texas, Aug. 1, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- AFAM Capital, a 39-year-old, privately held provider of specialty investment solutions, announces the hiring of Josh Kocher and Ray Chen to its quantitative division, Innealta Capital.
As portfolio manager, Josh Kocher will support and direct investment decisions, generate fixed income investment ideas and trade for tactically managed ETF portfolios. Kocher has worked in the industry for 16 years and holds an MBA in finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Virginia.
Ray Chen will serve as quantitative research analyst and provide quantitative support for the ongoing execution and enhancement of the firm's investment methodology and portfolio management. He previously worked as a research analyst for Merrill Lynch. Chen holds a Bachelor of Science in both physics and mathematics from Michigan State University and a master's in statistics from Rice University.
