PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Innovation Advisors today announced the sale of SecureMedia, a Cavalier Telephone company, to Motorola (NYSE: MOT). Transaction terms are not disclosed.

SecureMedia is a developer of software-based digital rights management (DRM) and security systems for IP video distribution and management, securing the delivery of digital entertainment over multiple platforms and devices, including set-top boxes, wireless handsets, PCs and portable entertainment devices. Its Encryptonite ONE™ system supplies proven end-to-end security for content in managed IP, mobile over-the top (OTT) and hybrid environments and is approved by all major film studios and TV broadcasters. SecureMedia is now part of Motorola's Home & Networks Mobility business unit.
