Insight acquires GSA OASIS Small Business - Pool 1 Contract bringing extensive DHS experience to the OASIS program

BOWIE, Md., Aug. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Insight Technology Solutions, Inc. (Insight) announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition and novation of  Bara Infoware's (Bara) GSA One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) Pool 1 – Small Business (SB) Contract. GSA has officially approved the novation, transferring all duties and obligations of Bara associated with the OASIS SB contract to Insight.  The GSA OASIS multiple award contract supports government agencies in acquiring complex hybrid program management, management consulting, financial, logistics, engineering and scientific professional services. GSA's goal in creating OASIS SB is to provide a total solution to agencies' requirements, while maximizing opportunities for small businesses.  As a Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB), Insight offers OASIS the benefit of an experienced Federal contractor to meet SB and WOSB socio-economic goals. 

As the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Technical Acquisition and Business Support Services (TABSS) vehicle winds down and begins to transition work to OASIS, Insight's novation of the OASIS contract provides the opportunity for Insight to continue to support its existing DHS clients while also opening up new civilian and DoD markets.  "Insight is extremely excited about our contract novation, as the GSA OASIS contract is aligned perfectly with our core capabilities.  We look forward to the opportunity to expand within the Federal market while maintaining the wonderful relationships we have built with our existing DHS clients," said Insight CEO, Mary Anderson.
