Instacube Announces Facebook Photo Integration

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Instacube, the latest Kickstarter darling, announced Friday that they will support Facebook photos upon reaching their stretch goal of $500,000 (double their initial asking of $250,000). Instacube, the latest innovation from D2M | Design to Matter is in its third week on Kickstarter and has raised nearly half a million dollars.

When they hit their first stretch goal of $400,000 D2M released black and white Instacube editions. Last week, Instacube announced a partnership with SmartThings, another smash hit on Kickstarter. SmartThings made Instacube more dynamic, and the addition of Facebook photos makes it more inclusive.

Instacube is a living canvas for Instagram and Facebook photos. Users can toggle between feeds, friends and hashtags while sharing and enjoying their favorite images on a beautiful display three times the size of their smartphone. The touch screen and tactile buttons make Instacube the optimum-viewing platform for our favorite photo feeds. The passive viewing experience allows a user to enjoy these images without having to navigate off a page or occupy their cell phone/smart device. 

Instacube is currently available for preorder on Kickstarter through September 21^st for $149.
