International Speedway Corporation Inks Licensing Agreement With Renowned Marine Wildlife Artist Guy Harvey
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Celebrated marine wildlife artist Guy Harvey and International Speedway Corporation® (ISC) motorsports entertainment facilities have announced a licensing agreement that will greatly broaden the reach of Harvey's popular race-themed custom designed shirts and merchandise.
The ISC licensing agreement will also extend Harvey's ocean conservation message to tens of thousands of race fans by rolling out new designs at ISC tracks throughout the southeast. Harvey originally made inroads into America's most popular sport in 2012 at Homestead-Miami International SpeedwaySM, an ISC facility. The new agreement will allow the artist to select ISC tracks' registered marks on clothing and merchandise.

In November 2013, during the Ford Championship Weekend at Homestead-Miami Speedway, the world's largest Guy Harvey outdoor mural was unveiled—a 600-foot span comprised of some 28,000 square feet of vinyl strung along Turn 1 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Discussions have begun to include Harvey's artwork at other ISC tracks.
New Guy Harvey merchandise featuring one of Harvey's iconic sailfish will go on sale February 14th during Budweiser Speedweeks® at the Daytona at Daytona International Speedway®, an ISC track covered under the agreement. Other ISC tracks involved in the licensing agreement include Darlington®, Richmond and Martinsville.
