Intertek CEO Visits China and Signs Strategic Partnership with CCIC and CQC to Promote Technical Innovation and Quality Assurance
BEIJING, May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Recently Andre Lacroix, CEO of Intertek Group plc, a leading Total Quality Assurance provider to industries worldwide, visited Beijing and met with leaders of government bodies, and industry associations including General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China (AQSIQ), Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China (MOFCOM), China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products (CCCMHPIE), Chinese Society of Inspection and Quarantine (CSIQ), China Certification & Inspection Group Co., Ltd. (CCIC) and China Quality Certification Centre (CQC).
Andre Lacroix and the leaders held in-depth talks and discussed how Intertek will continue to support Chinese manufacturers to align their products and supply chains with industry standards and consumers' needs for safety and quality, and to strengthen overall product quality for international and domestic trade.
