Intraprise Health Selected For Second Time As Member Of The HITRUST Assessor Council

YARDLEY, Pa., March 3, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Intraprise Health, one of HITRUST's longest tenured external assessors and a leading provider of highly rated, healthcare-specific cybersecurity services, today announced that Ryan Patrick, Senior Vice President of Security Products, and Melissa Hawkins, Information Security Team Lead, have again been named as members of the 2020 HITRUST External Assessor Council. Ryan and Melissa were initially selected to serve on the HITRUST External Assessor Council in 2019. Ryan was also named to the Council's Quality Assurance subcommittee, aimed at further upholding the Council's continued focus on maintaining a standard of excellence.

The Council is comprised of ten HITRUST-Authorized External Assessors and one HITRUST executive and represents a wide variety of organizations supporting the healthcare and public health sector. The new members will serve a two-year term on the Council. Members' diverse expertise and informed discussion of topics related to assessments provide valuable insights to the success of the industry, overall, as well as to the companies that work in it. The goal is to create additional value for customers seeking quality assessments that enhance the security of their data.

The Council was created to ensure that HITRUST-Authorized External Assessors working with any industry are able to provide input and influence the HITRUST CSF Assurance program to ensure its integrity, effectiveness and practicality. HITRUST-Authorized External Assessors such as Intraprise Health serve as a key component of the Council and will interact regularly with HITRUST to share challenges and opportunities relating to HITRUST service offerings.
