PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- "My dog has severe separation anxiety, and I often come home to find disasters because the dog has freaked out," said an inventor from Burlington, Wis. "My other dog is a runner and having to locate her is always a challenge. I thought that I could help keep my dog calm and my other dog safer and easier to find, by coming up with this convenient two-in-one training aid and location device."
He developed the CALL COLLAR to enable the owner to give the dog commands from a remote location via the phone app. The unit ensures that the dog behaves while its owner is away. It helps the dog remain calm in the absence of its owners. This reduces the risk of the dog going wild and destroying things due to separation anxiety. The invention provides a more humane alternative to a shock collar or discipline methods. Utilizing the phone app with the GPS system, which is also a value-added feature, will allow dog owners to find exactly where a dog has run off to, whether it be a dog that is a runner or someone providing training for hunting. All of this offers added peace of mind to concerned pet owners.
